This year Brian will again be going to Uganda on a mission trip. It is his third opportunity to go and we are both thrilled and excited that he has a chance to return. One of Brian's favorite things about going to Uganda is interacting with the pastors of the local churches there. Many of the translators are pastors from villages nearby. Here is a picture of Brian praying for the new pastor of the church that was planted last year. One of the highlights of Brian's trip was visiting the Bible school where pastors go to be trained.Brian raises support through letters but in years past there has always been a deficit from what was needed and what was raised. That is where this blog comes in. I love to make things. I enjoy using my hands to make fun, unique, and pretty things. I have lost count of all of the different crafts that I have "dabbled" in over the years. So now I am going to try and put that interest to good use. I am planning on selling my jewelry and possible a few other craft projects on this blog. All of the money earned will be going to Brian's trip. I am in a season of life where a mission trip isn't possible for me. I may not be able to go but I would love to be a part of what God is doing in Uganda and this is one way to make that happen...crafting for the Kingdom. So... more to come and hopefully I'll have some pieces to sell soon :)!!!!
